In the four months since the FFCRA became effective on April 1, the contours of this new federal paid leave law have been continually redefined by the USDOL and, most recently, the courts. Issues that seemed clear from the USDOL guidance are now being called into question by the courts and public and private attorneys throughout the country. During this webinar sponsored by CASP, Matthew Korn, an attorney with Fisher Phillips, will provide an update on where we stand with respect to paid leave under the FFCRA, including questions that remain open regarding the definition of the “health care provider” exemption, the requirements regarding intermittent leave, and documentation of leave requests. Matthew will provide practical guidance on how to comply with the FFCRA requirements, reduce the likelihood of litigation, and implement best practices for your business.
