Before being accepted as a CASP Business Affiliate, applicants have provided a letter of support from at least one CASP Member Organization and have been assessed by CASP membership at large via survey.

Presenters

Erin Moran

Dr. Erin Moran graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a B.A. double majoring in psychology and international studies. She later received her M.Ed. degree from the University of Cincinnati specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis and obtained a PhD in Psychology and Human Development at the Institute of Education, University College London. Her doctoral
research examined the experience of families of children with autism in Eastern Kazakhstan and developed a BST-based training program to prepare parents and teachers to work with children with autism in rural, low resource areas.

She has presented her research at national and international conferences. Her research won the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis Senior Student Award and the UK Society for Behavior Analysts Postgraduate Student Award. While in London, Dr. Moran worked a PECS Consultant and provided PECS and ABA training to over 1,500 parents and professionals in PECS and ABA. Dr. Moran has overseen services in homes, schools, and clinics in over 7 different countries. Dr. Moran currently works as the Director of Training and
Curriculum at Hi Rasmus.


Cate Davis

Cate Davis is a dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral (BCBA-D) with a passion for making a positive impact in the field of applied behavior analysis. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and sociology from Penn State University, followed by a Master of Science in Behavior Analysis in psychology from Penn State University/Southern Illinois University, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology at Capella University, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.

Cate's inspiration to work with the neurodiverse population stems from her personal connection, specifically her older sister who faced significant developmental challenges due to complications during labor and delivery. This heartfelt connection has driven Cate to be a lifelong active supporter of the neurodiverse community, volunteering in special education classrooms, participating in neurodiverse community events, and engaging in impactful internships at children's research centers.

With a diverse and rich professional background, Cate has accumulated extensive experience in various roles within the behavioral health field. She has served in applied clinical capacities, including roles as a Behavior Support Specialist (BSS), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Community Living Support (CLS) professional, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), and ultimately achieving the esteemed status of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D).

Cate's journey in the corporate arena showcases her versatility. She has held influential positions such as Staff Development Coordinator, Clinical Trainer, ABA Fieldwork Director, Strategic Operations Manager, Senior Director of Clinical Standards, and Director of Clinical
Science and Strategy. Notably, a more recent accomplishment involves spearheading the development of a clinical framework for a large value-based care organization, where she provided interdisciplinary services tailored for autistic individuals.

Currently serving as the Director of Research and Outcomes at Hi Rasmus, Cate brings her wealth of experience and passion to a leadership role. Her strategic mindset, combined with her profound understanding of clinical standards, enables her to contribute significantly to the advancement of research at Hi Rasmus, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with autism.

Cate Davis remains a shining example of dedication, compassion, and expertise in the field of behavior analysis, continuously striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals within the neurodiverse community.

Rebecca Urbano Powell

Rebecca has been working in our field of ABA since 2001 in clinic, community, home and school settings. From 2005-2014 she helped start and grow the ABA program at Tustin Unified School District in Orange County, CA to 80+ staff and 120+ students. In 2022, Rebecca was elected Treasurer on the COABA (Colorado Association for
Behavior Analysis) Executive Board. She is a member of the team which helped draft the bill for Medically Necessary Treatment in Schools and successfully helped lobby for its passage. She is on the Public Policy Committee advocating for Medicaid provision enhancement and assists on the Professional Development Committee with the goal of providing educational webinars to Colorado clinicians for improving the quality of
services in the state. Rebecca was appointed to the Advisory Board for Therapy Brands with the intent to improve ABA practice management and data collection systems to meet the needs of ABA clinicians. She co-chairs a Special Interest Group for the Council of Autism Service Providers for Therapy Brands users to gather data on what providers need from their software platform. She is passionate about representing providers across the U.S. as one universal voice.
